    Default Yaesu YM-38 Issue

I picked up a YM-38 600/50 ohm microphone for my FT-107m HF radio not to long ago. I recently had issues with the internal shielded wire. Particularly the coax/shielded wire the runs from the switch up to the mic diaphragm. The entire wire with center conductor, insulation, braided shield, and outer insulation is about 16 to 18ga. If anyone is familiar with this style microphone, I could use some help finding a piece of replacement wire. Most companies require 100-1000 ft of purchase, but I only need about 12 in of wire. Any help would be appreciated.

Plentiful sources for microphone cable (from 4 to 8 conductor), eBay has hundreds of sellers -- many former CB shops closing up and selling inventory.
