Can anyone explain the logic behind the FCC pursuing a case for 8 years when it involved the "fleeting" view of a woman's breast? Seems like a total waste of money over something that arguably isn't even worth censoring. And when an appellate court ruled against them they still wouldn't give up. What is the point of this?

Thumbs up On a positive note - AO-7

Amsat Oscar 7, launched 15 November 1974 and is still very functional even now.
Ok, it was qrt for 21years until the battery short cleared, but what an achievement eh?

All that time in such a hostile environment just goes to show the quality of the engineering design and the craft of the build team that created this tiny satellite.

I must take my hat off to those guys, a truly excellent project.
