Is there a commercially available lead that will enable ICOM microphones to work on the Flex 3000?

Flex offers mic cables for XLR mics on their Web site (look for HM-PRO to FLEX-3000 or FLEX-1500
Part Number ACC-CH1YM). Or you can purchase a Heil CC-1XLR cable, and add the 8-pin RJ45 modular connector for your unit.

I can't find the HM-PRO to FLEX-3000 anywhere. It is available for sale on an American website, but I can't find it at Waters and Stanton, or Martin Lynch. The other problem I have got is I use a modified foot switch to operate my microphone. The cable that goes in between the microphone on the radio has a connector for the foot switch to fit, I need to make sure that I can get exactly the same thing working on the Flex 3000.

Doesn't the Flex emulate Yaesu for that RJ45 mic pinout?

Trying to get information from Waters and Stanton, Martin Lynch and even Flex themselves is like trying to find hens teeth, don't these people want my business? I've sent various e-mails and I've had absolutely no response whatsoever. Maybe the amateur radio business is thriving and they've got enough business without having to bother about me purchasing a brand-new Flex 3000 :-)

I am really struggling to get information regarding using my Heil 781 on a Flex 3000. I have been told I need to use a CC-1-XLR cable. However, after looking at a photograph of one of these cables it looks as though it just has a basic microphone plug, rather than a Jack type plug

I already gave you the FLEX PART NUMBER for the cable you need. The information was straight from Flex. I do not know what more one could do for you ...
