Heathkit HW-8 QRP transceiver - with manual and box
Here is an assembled but not tested HW-8 transceiver. This one sat in its box all of its life when it was given to me recently. I really wanted to make the time to work on it and get it running but am too busy these days to do so. Included will be the assembled unit, the assembly manual, all the inserts that came with the manual and the original box.
From the online resources I have referenced, this unit is complete and there are no modifications. Functionally, the little rig does not appear to transmit or receive. I do get the normal hiss out of the headphone jack and it is drawing the expected current. It will switch into transmit mode but does not generate any RF. Therefore, it is non-functional from what little testing I have done.
Cosmetically, though, there is not a scratch on the case or faceplate. There have been no additional holes drilled in the case or frontpanel, as well. Controls all appear to work FB and the dial system is complete and operates as expected. From the condition, I really believe it has never actually been put into actual use since it was built.

Asking $55 plus split shipping from 95010. I will double box it so that the original box arrives intact. Paypal accepted.
Thanks for looking and I hope this will go to a good home.
Cheers,

Thanks to all who have reached out to me. I had no idea the little rig would be so popular so the best arrangement is to work through the offers in the order they have come in by posting/contact date/time. N1TNQ, please reply to my email by end of day.
Cheers,

Many thanks to all the folks who responded! I had no idea there would be so much interest. The rig has been sold. I do hope each of you are able to locate another of these little rigs.
Cheers and thanks!
