Ameritron AL-1500

I have a Ameritron AL-1500 (SN#850) from my dad's estate for sale. The amp is in very nice physical condition with no cosmetic issues (non-smoking environment). It is missing one case screw and had one replaced with a similar one. It was last on the air in February 2012. I'm not aware of any operational flaws or problems. It was last serviced by Mike at Ameritron on 06/05/08 to have a diode on the filter board replaced as well as a replacement relay installed. I will include a copy of the service order. From what I can tell, a used (medical pull) 8877 was purchased and installed in 2008 from 'The Tube Man' in Florida. I believe that to be the tube that's in the unit now.

Dad always had a big signal and enjoyed the 'capture effect' he had when it was on the air.

Buyer will receive the amp, factory manual and factory box, and copy of the 2008 Service Order from Ameritron.


I do not wish to ship the amp for obvious reasons. Will negotiate delivery within 200 miles of Longview, Texas.
