Default I'm certainly glad FD was held last weekend.

I'm glad FD won't happen this coming weekend. Last weekend was hot in the low to mid 90's calling for 100+ degrees Friday-Monday. Heat index to 110 Degrees. and A huge heatwave is in place. Not to mention for some of the places T.S. Debby,is blowing through too.!

Ditto to that. FD is always HOT but this year the temps are just oppressive.

My shack was a nice, air-conditioned 71 degrees F. throughout.

Funny, out here in Cali it was the coldest FD I've had yet. I suspect temps were in the 40s overnight and, after hours of sitting still, I was really chilled. Accidentally brought the XYL's too small sleeping bag and could not sleep at 3am when I finally decided to grab a few winks because it was too damn cold!

    I sure know that feeling.

I wasn't in FD at all, but two weeks earlier did the VHF contest from Frazier Peak. Windy all day and 43F at night. Didn't sleep at all. Zombie by the end of the contest.

    But lots of fun anyway.

Here we are. Never looked at a thermometer, but it was hot. I drank more than a whole case of 1/2-liter bottles of water from Friday night to Sunday morning.

Our FD was in the mid 90's low humidity and nighttime about 75.

It was in the mid to upper 70s and sunny here. We've lucked out the last couple of years with temps like this. We've also had our share of the upper 90's and 2,000,000,000% humidity in years past.
