Default 400 antenna trimming question ?

So my diamond cr320a is IMO complete junk. So I want to use my duplexer and Larsen 150b VHF and this one: http://www.theantennafarm.com/catalo...roducts_id=813

Can it be trimmed to cover the 70cm Ham band ? 420-450mhz.
If it cannot please link me to the right uhf antenna....I prefer a black whip and NO coils on the whip.

Model 4303 covers 430=450 and is 5/8L The center frequency is tunable. I would tweek it down a bit, depending on your needs. Which end of the band do you need to favor...

4305C is a colinear with 2dB more of gain. same coverage and tuning.

4305CN is a colinear closed coil with 2dB more of gain, same coverage and tuning.

These are all satisfactory for ham bands, and better than hacking up one not designed for ham use. I'm not sure how to interpret your statement about "no coil".

Why not just buy a Larsen NMO2/70BK and be done with is all?
