There should be a Federal Law that makes the Constitution The Law Of The Land Again....
And while we are at it.
A law that repeals ALL EXECUTIVE ORDERS.

There autta be a law stating that if you don't pass a common sense test you can't hold public office.

I'm for a law that for every new law that is passed, two existing laws must be removed. That lets reform happen in a gradual process.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away.

Congratulations Tom ! That wasn't difficult really. We have a country full of people who write to newspapers, "there should be a law about this, that, or something else". In my opinion there should be a law against people who write garbage letters to newspapers pontificating about things they know nothing about and make themselves look like big willies

None of these will ever be passed or even officially suggested. Over the years I have learned that the law has nothing to do with commonsense. All the ones mentioned so far are based on commonsense. They will never fly or even get on the runway.

There should be a law that every law should be reviewed at a preset time. Say 50 years for capital crimes, 30 years felonies, 20 years for misdemeanors and 10 years for infractions. At this time they should be reinstated, reevaluated or removed.

    You can't legislate stupidity
(otherwise a lot of politicians will be out of work)

Hell, I figured that there was always somebody somewhere either trying to
    Get it up
    Get it going
    or
Trying to remember what to do with it.

Here's a practical one. A few clubs I'm in operate by this:

There oughta be a law that before any legislative vote is taken, the treasurer reports how much money is in the treasury, how much of that is already committed to be spent, and how much is available for new spending. If the proposed bill costs more than is available, the bill may not be brought to a vote.
