It is likely that the worked party is not in the QRZ Database.

I got a message to update permission denied log...my program seems to be working now

I also had an "update permission denied" message when trying to confirm a 60 metre contact in the UK, although the log did appear to accept it.
I was wandering if this was anything to do with it being a 60 metre contact, I have only recently received my NOV for 60 metres, and this is the only contact I have confirmed to date.

The response indicates the uploading permission for that particular record has been denied for one of the following reasons:
1. The callsign does not match the logbook user's callsign, or
2. The existing record has already been closed through confirmation or deletion and thus cannot be further modified.
