If you have an interest in the Amateur Radio Service, and/or the history of military radio communications, or enjoy the nostalgia of the news reels we use to see at the movies, then this is the video for you. It’s 27+ minutes long, but worth the watch. Put it on full screen, get a bag of pop corn and a cold pop, sit back and enjoy. A special thanks to Marty, WB7X for sending this to me.

The tuning units from those transmitters were a treasure trove of parts for us hams of the '50s. They could be had for a dollar or two.

The radio is neat, but the truck they used to haul it in is the part of the video I really enjoyed.
