I'm going have to agree with QAA and that the information provided will do the trick just fine.
You need to learn how to search the internet for the information you want. I put "general radio 1931a" into my search and instantly got this; http://www.oldradio.com/archives/hardware/GR/1931a.pdf.
It's the manual and in section 1.2 it tells you what to do. Not exactly rocket science when it's right there in front of you.
If you do not understand the directions given then say so and somebody will jump in here and help you further.
You also need to clarify what a GK400 is. Haven't ran into one that is usable on the 1931A. So who made the GK400?

Exactly.

Nonetheless there is no "one", "correct" answer. There are similarities and differences among these examples and each may have particular advantages or disadvantages, yet each will probably get the job done.

You will also note that you had perfectly valid responses here as well. You had the link to get the manual and do exactly what the manufacturer suggests. You were even told the section of the manual to look at.
