    Exclamation KATSUMI MESSAGE KEYER model.MK-1024

HELLO I have a KEY MESSAGE KATSUMI model. MK-1024 is a team with over 20 years of use to many months since I used it at start-up indicators are lit all of the memories I can not turn off the stop button is me playing the buttons off all but the C3, the team works well as a manipulator but I can not disconnect the memory C3. I changed the electrolytic capacitors have found one of 1000MFD/16V slightly DISABLED AND had at the controller input +12 V and +4.6 V output is very hot the regulator ic now it is down the input voltage to +6.8 v output is equal heats up less but is still on the memory of the indicator sets record C3.Permite memory but I can not guess I'll have to disconnect some are bad ic SN series. Do you know this team? I have reviewed all the passive components resistors capacitors and diodes are fine ceramic is a team that has given me great satisfaction in competitions and record calls can help me? tnx.

Katsumi Electric Co. made keyers from 1960's to 2011.
The president of Katsumi Electric Co passed away in March, 2011, and it appears that the family has no interest in keeping the company going.
Apparently they have been unable to find someone to take it over, so we are no longer able to get Katsumi products.
Morse Express had been their agent in North America. The EK-130 was the last model they carried.

You are on your own (previous building experience helps in repair/troubleshooting)
-- Troubleshooting starts with having solid DC supply and regulation ... Then proceeding to the digital SN devices and circuitry.
