Default WHO STOLE MY HT ! Two low voltage ex tv valve audio amplifiers by G0CWA

Hi welcome to this my final posting until my next project, the STEAMPUNK BLASTER, my version of a fully portable valve ghetto blaster is completed. This can not only be carried on your shoulder but will keep you warm in winter!

This posting presents both of my low HT voltage ex TV Valve amplifiers, which I have called the DUNNIT SERIES, the name comes from close friends saying it can't be done at low HT without using specialist valves e.g. the 12K5. Well I've DUNNIT (done it) !!!!

The First is just a plain 3 (or 4) valve amplifier "The Dunnit" running on 12V HT

The second is a 6 tube all band tuner amplifier "The Really Dunnit" running on 13.8V HT

Full instructions and more pictures for these and my other projects are on makearadio.com at the link

    http://makearadio.com/visitors/index-nick.php

Both of these will run at higher HT Voltages (I've used up to 60V) but this may involve slight playing with the valve biassing.

Hope you find the ideas I put forward helpful and interesting, or at worst entertaining. The main aim of all my valve projects up to now was to use low (safe) HT voltages.

As always any comments will be greatfully received and I can be contacted via the forum or e-mail.

Hope you have enjoyed my postings so far the STEAMPUNK is now being built and debugged but for your amusement included photo is the prototype rats nest version

    73 for now Nick G0CWA
