I have just released version 11 of my remastered Ubuntu Linux 11.10 CD, customized for amateur radio use. This CD was designed for use with older computers (but newer ones work well, too) with 256MB of memory and a 1GHz processor (32-bit x86) as reasonable minimum requirements. The CD can be booted as a Live CD, and it contains programs to install the software onto a hard drive or USB thumb drive for future booting.

A wide variety of amateur radio software has been included, such as fldigi and friends, Sylpheed (for use with flarq), Gpredict (satellite tracking), xcwcp and qrq (CW practice), audacious (playing sound files), pulseaudio sound system with padsp for older applications, xnec2c and Fl_Moxgen for antenna modeling/design, aa-analyzer for use with RigExpert AA-xxx antenna analyzers, owx for programming Wouxun HTs, chirp for programming other HTs, and many, many more.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no proprietary programs on this CD. Please download it and have a lot of fun!
