    Smile Kenwood TM-731A Mic Connector

    I have a kenwood TM-731A with no output from the mic, even touch tones. I need to know what the part number and manufacturer of the round 8 pin connector used on this mic is. Can anyone help me?

    Well, I see that many have viewed this posting, but no one seems to have the answer. Not to worry. My xyl (KE4HUK) was looking over my shoulder today as I was researching this problem. She saw what I was looking for, and went to her computer. IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES SHE HAD THE ANSWER!! The part number is ARS-9308. I found that it is used on many rigs, including my trusty old IC-45A! So kudos go to her, she made me look pretty lame.
