Anybody remember Clarnence the Lion ?
Years ago I remember there used to be a TV series about a lion named Clarence.
I can't remember whether he was an American lion or an Australian lion, but he was a friendly sort of lion, somewhat similar to Skippy the TV Kangaroo.
Now I know you don't have kangaroo's or wallaby Jim's in Pennsylvania so I know Skippy was Australian. Here's another lion, this one is Russian, probably named Boris, fancy him as a next door neighbour ?

"Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay: small acts of kindness and love. Why Bilbo Baggins? Perhaps because I am afraid, and he gives me courage." - Gandalf the Grey, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Daktari with the "T-13" microphone and Skippy with the Bush Radio School, were big influences on me, and why I'm here!

This'll stretch your trivia memory:
Erin Moran, who played Jenny Jones in Daktari, is the same actress who played the bratty Joanie Cunningham--Richie's little sister--in the 1970s TV series, Happy Days.

I remember when I was 10 years old going to see the movie "Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion" with a couple of friends. The TV show 'Daktari' was based on that movie.
