Nah, why would anyone want to use those during Field Day?
I just wish people respected the request to get your one QSO and stay off to let others get theirs, yet every year I hear some people that get on multiple passes and hand out lots of field day contacts.

Oh geeze, I'll make ONE contact and that's it, just like last year. I can ONLY work the fm sats, I don't have the equipment to work the linear birds, and a vhf contact is worth extra points. Plus I use the fm sats as a demonstration. Thanks for the lecture.

Going to be mobile for Field Day this year. I'll be operating FM satellites right up until Friday evening of FD weekend then I will switch over to VO-52 and FO-29.
I may give the fm birds a try Friday before but im sure during field day it will be a mad house. If the guy with the portable set up shows up keep a ear out for us on the transponder birds under K3PT FM-29
I think I worked W6RO a couple of years ago.
Last weekend I had everything set up in the backyard to test it all, and I worked a guy in Huntington Beach. We probably could have gone direct on 2 Meter SSB, but then that wouldn't be any fun!
