That is the best one on film I have ever seen.
    This one is still good

The one that got away hit the pool between our apartment and the clubhouse.

You could feel the magnetic field pass through your body, and GOD was it loud.

This bolt struck the parking lot in front of the clubhouse.
The next morning on the way to the store I found the blistered asphalt, a blemish about three feet across.

    That's a good one Tom.
I'm not as brave (read as stupid) as I use to be.
I use to stand outside and watch the lightning.
A close call at my grandparents house made a believer out of me.

In the south humidity, I have noticed that the air around you will take on a pink tint just before a lightning strike (like a minute before and through the strike).

"The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror (37) is the 12th and its mirror (21) is the product of multiplying, 7 and 3. ... In binary, 73 is a palindrome, 1001001 which backwards is 1001001."

"Just to invite your attention to "73" in Morse code--also a palindrome."

That video is awesome, kinda scary being close enough to see the smoke coming off the tree it hit...

Best two that I ever got a chance to take:

Never had my camera out and ready when there was cloud-to-ground lightning around... lucky me
