Question I Dont Know What this is, HELP!

I bought what looks like some kind of sdr at Dayton, would anyone happen to know what is or have any websites or manuals I could use? Heres what I know: On the back it says Maxon Electronics and Made In Korea. Serial no. 910701195. Model no.DR-0520c. The only IC is a MC3359P and also says QHWP9122. The IC also has the motorola M symbol on it. It also has a crystal that says R498.4125 and KONY on it. Any help at all is appreciated.IMG_20120527_152205.jpgIMG_20120527_152117.jpgIMG_20120527_152134.jpg

That's a Maxon crystal controlled link transceiver, were built back in the 90's. They were primarily used for low speed data operations between a central station and a remote location that needed telemetry. That one may not be able to tune down to the ham bands, and is of limited use, other than parts, etc.

The MC3359 is a complete narrow band FM IF chip in itself. That is probably a double-conversion
single frequency UHF data link receiver as Joe noted.

I've used similar units for UHF control links for 2 meter repeaters, and that's about all they are
good for. A crystal to put it in the ham band is going to cost at least 30 bucks, and there is no
guarantee that the preselectors will even reach below 450 MHz.
