    Default BANGOR HAMFEST

    Announcing the 25th Annual Bangor Hamfest on June 2 at Hermon High School, Hermon, Maine. Gates open at 6:30 for tailgaters and 8:00 AM for all others. Admission $5.00/kids under 12 free.

    Planned features:

    The Ham Band
    VE Exams for all classes at 9:00AM
    Exhibits and demonstrations
    Dealers
    High-altitude balloon launch with cross-band repeater, APRS and video
    R/C Airplanes demo
    On-site fox hunt
    QSL Award checking
    Prize drawings

    Looking forward to the hamfest and the balloon launch! Will the balloon be launched from the hamfest itself or will it just be in the air during the hamfest?
