Ever wanted something so simple it's pretty hard to mess it up?

    I recommend. The USBDigi!

The USBDigi is simple. Just plug in a USB cable and the appropriate cable to connect to your radio, load your favorite digital software and you can work the world. Works with pretty much any digital mode software out there. DM780, FLDigi, MMSSTV, MMTTY, Digipan.
Work PSK-31, PSK-63, PSK-123, RTTY, SSTV, and much, much more on your HF rig, or your VHF/UHF, all with just one interface. Not at the same time of course!

With a built in VOX circuit, USB Soundcard and complete isolation, a value hard to beat. Fully modular, just plug in a cable for one radio, and then switch it out for a different radio later. Quality build and components. Manufactured and built in the USA.

    • Fully Isolated --- 2 isolation transformers provide complete isolation from your PC
    • VOX Keyed --- A built in VOX circuit eliminates the need for COM ports or complicated circuitry
    • Only Two Connections --- A USB cable from the computer and a cable going to your radio
    • Self Powered --- All the power that the interface needs is provided on the USB cable from the PC
    • Small --- The USBDigi only measures 3.3" x 2.1" x 1.4"
    • Made in the USA --- All of the USBDigi's are built right here in my Shack in Tennessee
    • Easy Operation --- Simply hook cable to radio and USB into computer, set audio levels, and load your favorite software
    • Works with Windows XP, Vista, and 7. Also have tested with Linux (Mint)

These interfaces will work with pretty much any HF or VHF/UHF radio out there. Simply buy the right cable for your radio, hook up, and have fun working your favorite digital modes!

    Items Needed:
One (1) USB Type B cable, commonly found for printers

    Included Items:
One (1) Assembled and Tested USBDigi interface unit
One (1) Interface to Radio cable
    Quick Set-up guide

Price is $52.00 including USPS flat rate shipping to U.S. 48 (email for quote outside of U.S.)

Additional Interface to Radio cables are $5.00 each

Please state what radio/connector you require. If it's a standard MiniDin-6pin then no extra wait will be required. If it's a odd connector type a couple days may be required while we acquire the proper connector. If you do not want the connector we will provide just a pigtail with the wire colors and functions clearly defined in the accompanying diagram.

The USBDigi has a 30 day warranty. Warranty will be void if mis-wired, mis-used, or used other then it's purpose as a sound card interface. Warranty policy is to repair or replace the interface at our option if returned within the 30 day period from date of purchase. Buyer pays return shipping.

Looks very good but..if you haven't sold any, it might be because no one wants to send in money for an unknown, untested, unreviewed product.

Why not let a couple of hams local to you try them on the air and report their experiences. It's a start.

I can vouch for the USBDigi. I have one and it works perfectly. I was looking at a SignaLink USB but they were a little out of my price range. This device did exactly want I wanted. I've made several contacts on PSK and a couple of SSTV with it. My radio is an Icom IC-725.
