sb200 re-paint. Suggested colors?

I'm thinking of re-painting the cabinet (not the face) of my sb200. I'm playing with a couple of ideas for colour.
- Maybe paint the case the same color as the lettering on the faceplate.
- Perhaps match it with the gray on my ic765 - not sure how the gray and green will blend.

Anybody have any suggestions? Or pics of repaints?

Heath used no less than 5-different colors on the SB-Line cabinet and what color came with the unit when you bought it was not certain. It was possible to purchase a complete SB-Line at the same time and get all 5 different colored cabinets! Also, there were 3-different colors used on the front panels, 4 if you include the wattmeters. Again, it was possible to get all 3 colors at the same time.

The cabinet colors ranged from a fairly prominent green to a gray with just a "hint" of green. That "hint" of green is the best, in my opinion, of all the cabinet colors. I have repainted all of my SB-Line equipment with that color. The Sherwin-Williams formula for that shade of green is contained in the article at the following URL:

Any good paint store can use the formula and produce the proper shade.
