Since its put as a joke its allowed to fly - plausible deniability .
If they get serious they get in trouble , and that becomes a fine line .

Front Line & Bill Moyers - Journal is doing some real good discussion about how & why the economy has collapsed .

If I decide to actually watch the news, which isnt often, it is BBC because my Spanish is not quite good enough to take in the news yet and BBC is in English. Most other alternatives are not and Fox seems more like entertainment than news.

Local nightly newscast. I wake up at 10pm each night and have the tv on the local news while I'm getting dressed for work.

BBC, Dutch news, and on the net both sides of the Isle to get a view how the contrasting parties look at things.
With my own movable dish i can get most USA sources too, including all European news sources.

I get my news from as many sources as possible. I want as wide of perspective as I can get. We can't learn anything with a closed mind. Don't interpret what happened for me, just give me the info and I'll do the research and figure it out for myself, thank you...

I subscribe daily to the L.A. Times, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. I subscribe weekly to Time and Newsweek, and pick up at the local corner newsstand usually weekly copies of the Boston Globe, the San Jose Mercury News, and the San Francisco Chronicle.

I read them all, and try to figure out what's really right.

    That's a challenge.

I do listen on the shortwave bands sometimes to BBC and their zillions of outlet stations, including a couple from Africa that report stuff we never hear of over here. If I want football (soccer) scores from around the world, it's hard to beat BBC because the U.S. news outlets don't pay much attention to it.

I listen to KOGO and KFI AM radio, read the San Diego Union, and then listen to RUSH who explains what it all means.
