    Default New oxymoron..

Adding to the list of; jumbo shrimp, Deafening Silence, Temporary tax increase, Twelve-ounce pound cake, and Exact estimate, comes the dwarf mammoth. "an extinct species once thought to be a diminutive elephant was actually the smallest mammoth known to have existed — which, as an adult, stood no taller than a modern newborn elephant."

I don't know about your Government, but when I worked for an Australian Government owned utility,I worked my butt off!

When I went to work in the Private Sector,I kept expecting the workload to increase.
It still hadn't reached the level of the Government job 10 years later.

    An indication of the difference:

We had a lightning strike at the Commercial TV site, which knocked it off air.
I wasn't on call, but I offered to go anyway,& got the place back on air.
The next day,I was commended by the Boss,& told there would be "a little extra in my pay packet".
In the Government job,it would have been"What took you so long!"
