Echolink Use In The Philippines.

I will being going on my 5th 3 week vacation to the Philippines in October. I probably wont be getting a reciprocal license while there so I am thinking about using Echolink to talk to my friends here in the US. I have it installed on my Android phone and I could connect on wifi to have internet access. My question isnt of technical nature but one of licensing and legality. I'm not using any amateur frequencies while over there, just accessing the internet.
