I don't know why they just don't re-release the TS-850S. I bet it'll be a huge seller.

Yes, the 850 didn't have DSP, but most hams don't even fully understand what that means, or how to use it properly. But, for what the TS-850 was, it still beats most HF rigs in the same price range.

While we're at it, re-release the TS-830! I'd buy one!

They should do away with the internal AT in the 990. I bet it would knock several hundred off the cost. I've never seen an internal tuner out-perform a good manual tuner.
