AZ-EL system

I would like to know if I could take a Yaesu g-550 elevator rotor and a g-450 or any other AZ rotor and interface them into a single control box ..like those for Yaesu g-5400 or 5600 and then into an interface; like the LVB Tracker; or similar. I am not familiar with the connectors on the Yaesu's rotors but I am thinking if I could piece together two Yaesu rotors they would plug into a single control box or I could use separate control boxes and interface them into the interface box. I could build AZ-EL system.

Thoughts?

Yes, you can build a control box. There are plans floating around the web.
