My AH-4/IC-7000 work flawless no problems as well as my 703+ and the new IC-9100 that I have used it with. Use it at home, in the Motor Home and Field Day even in the MH at only 25' from the tuner and radio/ground/counterpoise never a problem so far. It's just to close to your antenna and IMP the tuner not having a good earth ground for one.
