Sena SR10 Yaesu Interface
Was wondering if anyone has successfully interfaced a Sena SR-10 to a Yaesu FT-857...

I don't care which Bluetooth device you choose, there are problems with all of them with respect to their use on two way radios.
The biggest is the delay from Rx to Tx, and back. As the distance between the devices increases, so does the delay. My RPF unit is a good example. The turnaround time is about 1 second, and extends to well over 5 seconds when 10 feet away.
The audio is delayed a bit, and in some cases hearing the radio in one ear, and the Bluetooth audio in the other can be very distracting.
The idea of wireless headsets is intriguing, but not yet practical for two way radio.

Alan...thanks for your comments...didn't think the delay would be an issue...
