Rig is in transmit when RIGblaster turns on

My TS850S is in transmit when RIGblaster is on. Computer is using XP. I tried switching audio in & out cables and still no luck.Also RIGblaster's digital light is constantly on. Any help? Thanks.

Check to see if any program running is trying to use com1.

I had the same problem because my N3FJP software had a default radio set in the "rig control" menu. This in turn caused the PTT to activate through the serial port every time the software and the Rigblaster were on at the same time.

If that's not it, then check the internal jumpers against what the manual recommends for your rig.

My money's on the serial/PTT problem.

Are you sure the wiring is correct ? Have another look

Disconnect the com cable from the back of the RigBlaster - If the radio does not go into transmit then it's a Software settings/Windows/Hardware issue, if it is still stuck in transmit then it would most likely be the jumpers inside the RB.
