TYT TH-9000
Saw this on Amazon. seems like a good price, although I am sure you could pick up a similar Icom or Kenwood for a few more bucks. If these are anything like the handhelds by the same company, their manuals are a little lacking. No reviews on Amazon yet, wonder if this says something about the radio. Couldn't find any measurements on the radio, but it looks pretty compact.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I think you can get a Kenwood V-8000 for about 200 bucks...75 watt, known company......Cheep is ,,well CHEEP!!!!
Once in a man's life you should have a good dog, a good horse and a good woman.
The trick is to get them all together at the same time.

Not too good a deal. U can score a Yaesu FT1900R at R&L or HRO for around $140.

The TH-9000 is a 220 mhz radio, not a 2m rig. I don`t know what they call their 2m rig. My bad, looks like they have all three radios called the TH-9000! 2m 220,440. I checked their website. Oh well...
