My radio for some reason quit transmitting and after speaking to Yaesu was told to return the unit for repair, after the repair the unit was returned by FEDEX Ground.
I guess during transit it was damaged and I returned the unit to Yaesu on Feb. 26 2012 and today have not heard from them concerning my radio.
Info..they have a policy that when a unit is reurned, if the original box is not availiable, place the unit in a box whithin a box, but the unit was returned in a single small box, I believe that was part of how the radio was damaged, so be careful when receiving a repaired item without the proper packaging.
