How to post new thread on this Forum?

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum. I joined about a month ago. I just found out that I cannot post on the Discussion, Opinion, Editorial subforum. What should I do to enable myself to post on forums like that? Thanks.

I seem to have the same problem. I'm guessing there is a post requirement or some sort of clearance that must be gained from the the admins/mods before you can post or start threads. I've been searching around and looking through FAQs, but I can't seem to find an answer.
