    Funeral service for Allen Wilson Glenn, 74, of Valhermoso Springs will be Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Valhermoso First Christian Church with the Reverend Jim Summers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.

    Mr. Glenn, who died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Crestwood Medical Center, was born September 25, 1937, in Morgan County to Robert E. Glenn and Martha Almyra Ewing Glenn. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and from SCI in Huntsville as an electronic engineer. He was a member and trustee of the First Christian Church in Valhermoso Springs and a member of the Somerville Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed genealogy and HAM Radio. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Glenn and brother, Ralph Glenn.

    Survivors include his wife, Carolyn A. Glenn; one daughter, Laura Simmons (Rob) of Jackson, Miss.; and two grandchildren.

    Pallbearers will be friends and members of the Masonic Lodge.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Valhermoso Springs or to the Valhermoso Springs Cemetery Fund.
