Yahoo PSK31 page needs some visitors !
This PSK page has been around since 1999 and its slowly dying on its feet and needs some PSK users to call in now and again to make some comments. So, if you are a Yahoo user, call in occasionally and lets try and get this site moving again.

IMHO, I think it's because PSK is slowly dying. Other modes, like JT65, ALE, ROS, Olivia, Opera, etc. have ballooned in use. A CQ shows more hits on reporters for JT65 than PSK does almost every time I've (unscientifically) compared.
Not that the mode will ever be gone, but until band conditions pick up, the more robust modes are popular.

So I need to join even to read that group? Really? No wonder it's dying.

Joining a Yahoo! group is rarely an onerous task.

I'm not a huge fan of PSK, mainly because the decode is so poor, but I don't think you can really compare it to JT65. From a strictly radio, S/N, decode, etc. aspect, yes JT65 is superior, but it's really tedious compared to PSK. I can't stand it for much more than an hour, I would much rather have a conversation. Olivia is nice but unless you want to use a lot of band real estate it's painfully slow. BTW, I just checked for all bands the number of QSOs for the last 6 hours on PSKReporter between PSK and JT65 and they are equal! Surprised me.

Lots of Yahoo groups have the archives set to members only because the operators think that a public archive increases spam.
I don't think that's true. Here's my thoughts on that from a previous thread.
