Sylvan Springs Amateur Radio Club Testing
Hello fellow hams,
I just wanted to advertise the Sylvan Springs Amateur Radio Club's ARRL Test session. We have aouw testing omn the 3rd Friday of every month with an exception to May's test date it will be on the 25th. We start around 6:00 PM and go until everyone has been tested.
We hold the testing events in the Sylvan Springs Community Center at 130 Rock Creek Road Sylvan Springs, AL 35118. My name is James, I was first Licensed in May of 1996. I canceled my License and enlisted in the US Army. I got out on a Medical Discharge in July 2006. In 2007 i got back into the hobby and enjoy it as much if not more than the first time.

My equipment consists of: FT-2000 100watt version, FT-60R, Icom V-82, 2 FT-7800R Mobile's, Vertex VHF set for 147.390, MFJ969 Tuner. Antennas are: 1/2 wave 160 Loop all built with 450 ohm Ladder line, 6 Meter "J" pole, and a 2Meter/440 "J" Pole built out of Steel and threaded rod.
