So he cuts off his foot - effectively *guaranteeing* he won't get any outdoor jobs - but they can certainly still qualify him for some mundane desk job!

I knew an idiot about 30 years ago who shot himself in the foot with a 22 rifle because he couldn't stand the thought of going to work. The bullet shattered some little bones in his foot, he didn't work for 6 months. Don't know what he lived on during that time. I remember he said to me "I didn't think it would hurt that much".

as many of you will be unaware the current government is targeting and victimising sick and disabled people - blaming US for the economic problems of the uk - not incompetent politicos - not greedy bankers - but genuinly disabled and sick citizens who have paid into the system - HAVE worked - and now have to claim a pittance to live on or to be able to retain something like a normal life

so far there have been at least 10 or more suicides attributable to the stress being placed on genuine claimants by the pernicious french firm being paid millions to do "assessments " ( read kick as many off disability to save money as possible ) - and we have ALL been branded as "scroungers " and worse - the level of disabled HATE CRIME is on the increase in the UK - and I myself have experianced verbal abuse at the hands of those who , instead of finding out the facts , believe what they read in the gutter press and what comes out of the foul mouths of our supposedly caring politicos - needless to say my "accusers " got short shrift from me - and soon set to rights - as my body may be FUBAR - but my mind and mouth are NOT

SO PLEASE PEOPLE FIND OUT THE FACTS before believing everything you read - there is such a thing as bias reporting

the disabled ( and i agree there ARE those who work the system - and i condemn them the same as anyone ) - are getting used as skapegoats in the UK and else where for OTHERS failings and for political decisions that are now coming home to roost - in fact SOME of us see history repeating its self - as many of you will be unaware that before hitler and the nazis started on the jews - they started putting the disabled and sick to death as "inferior " specimens - and also whipped up "public opinion " against them - claiming that they where a burden on the state ( go read some history if you doubt this )

WE disabled in the UK feel much the same today

I'm beginning to have serious worries about folks in Austria. There have been cases in recent years of locking daughters in cellars and incest and illegitimate babies, and the big one was that artist bloke who wrote a book and grew a funny toothbrush moustache under his nose, and lots of other things which were not funny.

The point of the story is that he PURPOSELY made himself "Disabled" so as to defraud the Govt. Had he not done it, he would have been perfectly healthy to work. What he didn't want to do WAS work. He wanted to be a SLACKER and feed off the Govt Dole. So rather than work like he should, he sliced off his own foot.

People who are disabled do not do it to themselves in almost all cases. They are VICTIMS of Accidents or disease, but not something they chose themselves. I am sure they would most ASSUREDLY desire to be WITHOUT the ailment and able to work. But this RB DID IT TO HIMSELF, Just so he could claim disablement. He really should be prosecuted for it. (or locked up in the FUNNY FARM with the key thrown away!)

My mother in law attempted suicide three times over her living and work situation. She's on disability right now, and rightfully so. At first, I thought she was just a slacker too. but now I realize she does have a mental disability. Hell, I should have realized that 15 years ago when she held my son (then only a year old) over the rail of an apartment complex balcony on the third floor.

I'm not condoning what this guy did, but it appears that he has issues. And I know I wouldn't want to work around anyone with that mindset.
