I've yet to hear them when their signal was string enough to work. I need Spratly but it doesn't look good!

Never over a 579 here, but enough to work a couple of bands.

Weak and on 15m right now.

Fortunately, they went to 15 where I do have a beam. But it wasn't easy. Called for the longest time, both on the Straight key and with the MFJ, but still no win. Finally the pileup died down enough and I made it. But with no online log, I won't know for sure until I send for the card. Confidence is pretty good though. Now need a QSO on RTTY.
You are in the log 2x on 15m. Congrates! de Steve KA9OKH

Haven't been on, as stated so many times, for NA to work them on 10 or 40, not that some haven't, just the majority haven't even heard a peep due to wrong prop time to be on. Kinda gave up on any low band let alone 10 meter opportunities. 15 and 17 meters not a big deal, but certainly would be nice to see them spend some time working NA on other bands besides these two. Heard them on 12 when they were working the hard to reach JAs and then they opt'd for a few minutes on NA and then promptly disappeared to show up on 75 for Asia and EU again. Don't get it, but perhaps next time.

    Pat, that's everyday..LOL

Be careful when you kiss that L7, make sure the covers are on...no slight "shocks" with that unloaded voltage on the plates...

I heard them on 15m CW, for two short periods, about 20 minutes each, then QSB took them out. Disappointing performance on their part as well as poor conditions, didn't help matters much.

I got them on 15 and 17 cw. One guy was even whining on the cluster about them not doing SSB. LOL! Put on your big boy pants and break out your paddles... Or just do like everyone else and use the memory keyer in your rig. No fuss no muss.

By "past few years" you mean a span of 20 years... 1s0rr was qrv in 1991. That was before I even KNEW about ham radio.
