    Wink Ameritron ALS-600S 600

    I’m offering my 9 month old Ameritron ALS-600S 600 Watt Solid State Amplifier up for sale. Amplifier Includes 110/220 volt switching power supply. 10-12M factory modification board has been installed. Both pieces include sturdy OEM shipping boxes, documentation, & connecting cables. Operates to factory specifications & is in excellent condition functionally & cosmetically. No scuffs, dings, or dents. Because of the weight of the power supply, I'd prefer to transfer the amplifier in person locally, but I will ship for the actual shipping cost based on buyer's preference. This amplifier currently retails for $1,599 plus another $30 for 10/12 meter mod by the manufacture. I’m asking $1050 plus shipping and insurance if not picked up locally.     My ad has an error, the amp is a ALS-600 with a HEAVY AC power supply (not a light weight switching PS).
    Shipping will cost too much for me if I sell for $900 and pay shipping. Best I can do is reduce the price by $100 to $950 and you actual pay shipping....

    So the picture is not the actual item, but it is representative of the actual amp series, just with the non-switching PS?

    The heavy duty linear power supply is an option.It normally comes with the switching power supply.You can find it in the MFJ catalog.I forget how much more the linear PS is off hand but it is more expensive.73,

    Yup,you are correct.$1499.00 vs $1599.00.I'm redoing my shack and it took me forever to find my mfj catalog.
