    Richard E. "Dick" Hotaling, born in New Baltimore 78 years ago, died March 29, 2012.
    He is the son of Laura and Albertus Hotaling. Some of his careers were farmer, banker, pilot, restaurant owner, architect, engineer, private investigator and teacher. He loved to travel, RVing, playing poker, ham radio, computers, photography and coffee with his buddies. He is survived by his wife Bonnie; children, Gary (Kathy) Hotaling and Sandra Peterson; stepchildren, Anthony DiRenzo and Lisa-Renee' (Jim) Keegan; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He will be missed for his positive attitude, twinkling blue eyes and his beautiful smile. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the W.C. Brady's Sons, Inc., Funeral Home, 97 Mansion St., Coxsackie, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Susan Kerr, minister of the New Baltimore Reformed Church officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Riverside Cemetery, Coxsackie.
