    It amazes me that this stupid SH*T is brought up by so few people all so often. Talk about about a bunch of CRY BABIES wanting dead hemroid nets on all bands CW and SSB ONLY 24/7!

    I love contests, I never place, but it give me an actual chance to get some good DX. As far as that goes, I think they should lift the contest ban on WARC.

    Well said. I know that various ops don't like my style of operating because I am an evil 8 KHz wide heterodyne hog. We are all radio geeks wheather we want to admit that or not. Live and let live.

    I keep my boat anchor stuff just for AM plus I like to work on it. If fact it's the only radios that I own that I can work on a FT-101E (2), B, FR-110, FL-101,FL-2100B will work on all modes but like AM better with the tube rigs for fun.

    contesting should not take more than 50% of band, I often participate in contest, but never expecting to get higher score. to do well in contesting one need good systems. perhaps, score should be calculated, based on Effective Radiated Power ( ERP ). Final Score = Total Score / ( ERP in watts )
