    Default Big Bang Theory

Are there any fans of the show 'Big Bang Theory' here?

I am really starting to like the show. For one thing, I like shows that are technically accurate. BBT has renewed my interest in physics due to its constant references to the subject. I would have never known about string theory if I had not watched the show. Or quarks or hadrons.

In addition to that, the show is hilarious. Jim Parsons does a phenomenal job as Sheldon. His use of Sheldon's very extensive vocabulary in a humorous manner is an art form in itself.

There are many cool tidbits about the show. I think it's getting better since Sheen left Two and a Half Men. It seems that Lorre is putting more of his effort into BBT. Two and a Half doesn't even have a new show every week. They are intermingled with re-runs.

I like BBT so much I have taken to wearing long sleeve T-shirts under short sleeved T-shirts.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out.

The last season of Eureka! will start next month. Man, I'm bummed--it's a very cute show and I'm going to miss it.

Big Bang Theory is great. I watch it all the time.
Two and a Half Men I quit watching. Without Charlie Sheen it is just plain lousy. I'd be surprised if it gets another season.
    I'd rather watch the reruns.

I love BBT, it's really a great show that, unlike many other sitcoms, just keeps getting better.

It's taped at Stage 25, W-B Burbank, and that's a truly fun place to visit if you have time.

The whole cast is great. I give a lot of credit to Kaley Cuoco ("Penny") as being not only gorgeous but having incredible comedic timing.

If you listen close, you can hear subtle references to other shows. For instance, in one show it was mentioned that the owner of the comic book store went to Rhode Island School of Design. That's the school Seth Macfarlane went to.

In another show, Howard suggested that they call 'Blossom' to join one of their game teams. For the unwashed, 'Blossom' and 'Amy Farrah-Fowler' are the same person, Mayim Bialek. 'Amy' is a neurobiologist on the show, and is also one in real life.

I heard another one the other day and can't think of it.

    Too funny!

Not being a geek/nerd/techie, I always wondered how the other half lived. Although the show is no indication, it still makes me wonder...
