MICOM-XF Wanted schematic FLN6337A Interface S board
Hello to all my fellow tinkerer's out there! This HF transceiver wears the Motorola badge (Israel) circa 1992.
There were at least 2 variations of the same "XF" (a remote control-head "X") and this one is model number T80FEA7X41AK which is a 125W PEP 120 channel synthesized commercial 2-30MHz unit. I have most of the service manual but am missing part of the schematic for the Interface S board, p/n FLN-6337A (note the A).
As it's more likely that the BA crowd (like myself) would be attracted to this sort of equipment, I thought I'd post my request here looking for info.
I'd like to hear from others tinkering with this exact gear to trade info and tech notes.
I've posted similar to the MICOM group on Yahoo and also to Batlabs and other like-minded groups but so far haven't turned up anything useful.
I've tried contacting communications companies which indicate they've sold or supported this equipment in the past, including Motorola, with no useful results.....there may be others out there though.
Also interested in any links (torrent or otherwise) to download service manual files for this equipment (I've been searching but that doesn't mean it isn't out there!).
Keep on Tinkering......THAT is REAL HAM RADIO.

HI there i need any info on this radio i can't find the manual for it need the mis wirking info i wonder if you could help?
I have no idea what it is that you're looking for, but, if it's the operating manual, then do a google search for MICOM X and you'll find the operating manual for that rig, which is the same basic operating instructions as your MICOM XF (if it's the MICOM XF you've inquired about).
Best of luck.
