In a universe long ago and far away, someone came up with a one-transistor 40 meter transceiver. I can't seem to find the article...thought it was in QST, but apparently not. It used a transistor as both a transmitter oscillator, and also as a regenerative receiver. (Needed a set of piezo earphones, as I recall.) If any OT's remember this, please give me a scream.
