I'm also working on a TNC terminal app. My goal is to build a fully ANSI compatible terminal that can use the serial port, Telnet connection, or AGWPE interface.

That is very generous of both of you but I use putty for such things because I use ssh all the time. What would I gain when I switch to another terminal program?
