Now we know! Your fears answered.

One time a little girl came up to me and told me I was really UGLY! What a TERRIBLE thing to say!
Don't know what caused her to do that, but it sure has bothered me to this day. I told her "My WIFE doesn't think so!". She didn't have an answer for that.

there is a notion called "zero sum": +2 looks results in -2 brains so everybody ends up equal. It is a false notion, but it is the root of the notion that blondes and jocks are inherently stupid.

your failure to comprehend does not compel me to explain.

Wise people talk because they have something to say. Fools talk because they have to say something.

Expect to get half of what you earn, a quarter of what is your due, and none of what you have lent, and you will be near the mark.

I'm guessing that since they're ugly they spend more time alone and are more introverted, spend much more time reading and in thought.

I challenge the conclusions drawn in the article: has the writer ever visited a Wal-Mart? Eeeeeesh!

Maybe she did it on a dare, or someone lied to her and told her that 'ugly' meant something else. It's sure nothing to be bothered over. It's not like she accused you of not being able to solder worth a damn.

"The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror (37) is the 12th and its mirror (21) is the product of multiplying, 7 and 3. ... In binary, 73 is a palindrome, 1001001 which backwards is 1001001."

-Dr. Sheldon Cooper, (Jim Parsons), "Big Bang Theory"

"Just to invite your attention to "73" in Morse code--also a palindrome."
