Default 'Apex Down' 20 m Delta loop back up.

G'day all, in a move reminiscent of the mid 1980's, just prior to New Years Day, after an afternoon of considerable effort in the backyard, I managed to re-erect my 20 m Delta Loop up between two pipe masts at about 26 to 28 ft ft top height, about as high as I could manage.

I last had a Delta Loop up in this form back in the mid to late 1980's, and it's good to have it up again in this form again as the 'effective height' of the Delta Loop is clearly considerably higher in this form.

I have it running in a roughly East - West line radiating broadside and horizontally polarised. It seems to be working well. One thing that I do notice though is that the nulls off the ends are quite deep. The books say about 5 db, but they seem somewhat 'deeper' to me. Any comments or thoughts? Regards, Felix vk4fuq.
