    I like 600 0hm open line. Any loss is at a minimum. With a good ant tuner you can use it on other bands. The 600 ohm line is not affected by weather as much.

    There is a guy who makes TRUE Open Wire Line somewhere, and it is very reasonably priced as well. But after reading DX Engineering, 300 ohm line really is best for an all band 80 meter doublet W8JI says.
