    Default SS-Phone This Weekend. QRV?

This will be the audio game of this weekend. Even I think it's fun, despite that nasty aftertaste of using a yackrophone.

Not as great as the CQ WW but has to be the second best of the year so far. These are the only times that the bands are really alive during the SSB contests we need more of them to justify that we are using all of our bandwidth.

It is a good time for new people to start on there DXCC and for others to fill a lot of band countries many are LoTW also easy confirmations and free.

Good Luck to all and Enjoy Yourselves..

I'll be there for some of it. Doesn't look like I'll be able to devote as much time as last year so someone else will probably win SO LP KS.

This one isn't about Dx. It's about WAS in a single weekend. But the weekend following will be CW-CQWW.
I make sporadic contacts in that one. I quickly tire because it's possible to know the exchange as soon as you know the call sign prefix.

I have a new Pro Set Elite to try out I will be participating, but not like my effort of two weeks ago. I hope to get 100 to 200 contacts in.

I'll be on as much as I can! I have family coming in from out of town on Sunday morning, so my time on the air might be limited at that point, but I'll hit it hard right up until I have to go to the airport to get them.

Doubt I'll win anything as a result, but it's more about helping my club out in the club competition and most importantly:

    Having fun.

Hope to work some of you.

I'll be looking for new countries and should be good on CW! That is between cleaning the house getting ready for 25 in-laws to come in for Thanksgiving.

If I may answer, SMC is the Society of Midwest Contesters. You may meet a representative sample of them at the Dayton Hooters on Dayton Eve Thursday. Talk about an eyeball QSO party!

Yeah, IB4TL. How can a non-contester define what is normal for a contester?
