Need Help on Cat Control with Icom IC-718

Hi Fellows;
Anyone has set-up the cat control from the PC to the Icom IC-718, using a Rigblaster interface (USB Plug and Play)? Any hint will be appreciate.

Page 10 of this manual has an Icom cable wiring diagram --- IF you are a DIY cable builder. Otherwise purchase the cable you need.

You may order a pre-wired cable from West Mountain Radio for rig control via the RIGblaster Plug & Play’s interface.
If you wish to make your own cable look on West Mountain's Internet support page for instructions.

Assuming you have a correctly wired cable connect it between the RIGblaster’s “RADIO” “RIG CONTROL” jack and the radio’s jack. Lower Right Jack on Rear Panel - IC-718.

MANUAL -- GO to PAGE 6, this shows the REMOTE (3.5 mm jack) on REAR PANEL of your Icom IC-718 .
This is for Icom CI-V connection (Icom's name for Remote Control, Yaesu's name is CAT - Computer Assisted Tuning).

Your RIGblaster Data Jack Plug & Play replaces the Optional Icom CT-17 : CI-V Level Converter -- shown on page 57 of the Manual.
